Requirements for Obtaining the SASO IECEE National Recognition Certificate

To obtain the SASO IECEE National Recognition Certificate under the system, manufacturers or suppliers must comply with several key requirements to ensure product conformity with Saudi standards. These requirements include:

1. Submitting CPTR & CPTC test certificates and reports from an accredited IECEE CB laboratory.
   • The report must prove that the product meets the relevant Saudi standard requirements.
2. Submitting a copy of the Declaration of Conformity
   • This is an official document provided by the supplier declaring that the product complies with Saudi technical regulations and standards.
   • It is submitted as part of the application for the SASO IECEE National Recognition Certificate.
3. Attaching the product image and explanatory details

• • Clear images of the product from different angles must be provided.
  • Include explanatory product details (such as input capacity and current, model number, brand name).
  • Provide the user manual in Arabic and English, which must comply with the relevant standard requirements.

The Declaration of Conformity is an official document submitted by the manufacturer and supplier, stating that the product:

• Complies with Saudi technical regulations and standards.
• Has been tested and approved in accordance with the required SASO & IEC standards.
• Is subject to monitoring and follow-up by the competent authorities to ensure continued compliance with the standards.
